Virtual Better Process Control School (BPCS)
Monday, August 17 - Wednesday, August 26, 2020
This course fulfills FDA and USDA the training requirements for acidification, thermal processing, and container closure evaluation operations during the canning of low-acid or acidified foods. The course is taught by highly knowledgeable process authorities with extensive industry experience and an expert food microbiologist. This course is divided into two sections: acidified and full BPCS. When registering, please make sure you register for either the full course or just the acidified portion.
• The entire course is delivered remotely in real-time via an online webinar platform;
• Students will have the opportunity to ask questions and have them answered in real-time;
• Students will complete all required exams on their own time using an online exam proctoring interface.
• Students will receive a copy of the Canned Foods Manual prior to start of course.
Courses will take place on weekdays only and will not take place on the weekend, Saturday August 22nd - Sunday August 23rd.
There will be approximately 4 hours of lecturing per day.
When joining the course, please make sure you have reliable access to internet and a computer or mobile device with video conferencing capabilities. Please also make sure to join no later the 15 minutes before the course starts to allow yourself time to set up.
